Makerspace Classroom

Transforming your classroom into a
Makerspace

How to organize and get your classroom ready with a small maker space. When you need materials to stock your space be sure to ask for donations from parents and the community! Also, look to up-cycle any materials like cardboard boxes. There are many reuse stores, such as Austin Creative Reuse, and other thrift stores you can find supplies.

To see what students create from my DIY maker space please check out the "maker education" tab!
